چکیده

Background Sugreen-120 is one of the famous Indian polyherbal formulations used for treatment diabetes. Due to a lack scientific evidence, present study aimed at investigating phytopharmacology concerning its antioxidant and antidiabetic characteristics. Materials Methods Total phenols flavonoid content followed by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging activity was estimated in Sugreen-120. α-Amylase α-glucosidase inhibitory action evaluate potential. Thin layer chromatography (TLC)-bioautography-MS analysis performed determine DPPH radical, α-amylase phytoconstituents High performance thin (HPTLC)-based quantitative simultaneous separation caffeic acid kaempferol. In silico docking effect metabolites against enzymes. Results The results showed that enriched total flavonoids even has good potential scavenge radicals with an concentration (IC 50 ) value 414.59 ± 4.925 µg/mL. assays, efficacy found dose-dependent manner IC values were as 220.106 1.375 441.44 1.992 µg/mL, respectively. TLC-bioautographic 06 constituents active 04 03 α-glucosidase. A HPTLC revealed kaempferol be 5.233 0.026 16.959 0.036 µg/mg, out 5 identified metabolites, myricetin, ellagic acid, significant interaction proteins. Hence, it can concluded exhibits not only but also It palliative choice alternative
